Iglesia de Andra Mari de Urizar The town of Lemoiz emerged during the Middle Ages around the Parish of Urizar, which later absorbed the villages of Andraka, located next to the road that linked the village with Plentzia and Mungia, and Armintza, a fishermen´s settlement situated in a natural cove.
